    F. 40 is signed out twice, f. 50 is signed out even three times (cf. ff. 40r , 41r , 51r , 52r , 53r ). This leads to a total count of 79 folios.
  • Decoration:
    The commentary is written in thin script, the textus is given in lemmata written in taller letters. Some of the Aristotelian quotes are also highlighted by this fond. The initial letters are done partly in red, partly in blue.The titles are written on the top of the pages in black ink.
  • Layout:
    Text is set in two columns.
  • Hand Description:
    One hand, of northern origin.
  • Provenance:
    On f. 1r a hand from the 16th century wrote: Liber Cartusiensium in Basilea minori, proveniens a domino Johanne de Lapide , confratro nostro, continens commentum Averrois in libros Metaphisice Aristotelis . So one can know, that the manuscript comes from a Carthusian monastery.
