    Modern foliation with a pencil (1-275).
  • Collation:

    Signatures of collation through a combination of kryptographic numbers and arabic numbers set in points. (cf. 24r- 275r : "41·1· – 41·6· ... 61·1· – 61·6·, 25·1· – 25·4·")
  • Condition Description:
    A folio cut, but no text is missing.

  • Decoration:
    Rubricated, red lombards extending 1-3 lines.
  • Layout:
    In a large part of the manuscript the text is set in two columns, but there is no clear line between them (cf. f. 25r – 200v ). The following dimensions refer to the writing box:

    26–36 lines to the page.
  • Hand Description:
    Written by Brother Jordanus in Gothic Hybrids (cf. f. 1r ).
  • Binding Description:
    Brown calf-leather. The bag of the book is damaged. On the front-cover traces, on the back-cover remains of a closing-ligament. The closing band is missing.
  • Provenance:
    On f. 1r an annotation of property, a note about the writer, a coat of arms and an emlem of the Düsseldorf Crossconvent. The manuscript was also bound here. With the secularization the Convent was closed and the manuscript came to the Hofbibliothek of Düsseldorf at the end of 1812.
