  • Condition Description:
    The paper is decomposed by moisture. At the end six folios were ripped out.
  • Decoration:
    On f. 1r one can find an Initial in red and blue (an O). Red calligraphic initials all over the code.
  • Layout:
    The text is set in 2 columns.


  • Hand Description:
    The code is written by four hands: First hand: ff. 1r- 47v , a note on f. 47v : "Expliciunt notabilia collecta ad usum et profectum scolarium correspondentia materia originali libri metaphysicorum". Second hand: ff. 48r- 116v , 117r- 121r . A note on f. 116v : "ille n. k. f. scripsit. / Expliciunt auctoritates philosophiae naturalis per Franciscum de Oetting anno 1431 in die ascensionis", and on f. 121r : "Expliciunt s(e)n(tent)iae Isidori", Third hand on ff. 122r- 181v , another note on f. 181v saying: "Expliciunt naturalia. Finitus est iste liber anno domini M°CCCC° 31 mo in die sancti Agapiti martyris (18. 8.) per manus Stephani de Prandorff". A fourth hand on ff. 182r- 184v and a fifth on ff. 185r- 187v .

    Wooden lid. Brown leather.
  • Provenance:
    On ff. 47v , 121r and 181v a previous owner wrote: "huius est T. d. S. liber". In the 16th century the code belonged to Saint Paul. The old signature of the Studienbibliothek was 101.
