    The manuscript has been recorded as part of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France on October 29th, 1896 , see f. x4 .
  • Provenance:
    This manuscript is part of a collection of 590 manuscripts, most of them dating from the mid 19th century , which originally belonged to the Royal Palace of king Ahmadou Tall ( 1836 - 1897 ) in Ségou (Mali) . Eventually these manuscripts came to Paris after, in 1894 , French troops under general Louis Archinard ( 1850 - 1932 ) had looted the palace.
