    Western foliation (pencil); catchwords
  • Condition Description:
    Precarious: spine and binding are broken, pages are partly loose. Old repairs of the paper (see e.g. f. 123r ; on f. 1r sticky tape.
  • Decoration:
    Red ink for new paragraphs or chapter headings. Red arrows in function of marker are worked in the paper in order to separate the individual treatises. In the Short Commentary on the Meteorology place is left empty in order to complete it later by figures (see ff. 163v , 165v , 166v ).
  • Layout:
    Text is set in one column.

  • Hand Description:
    Two hands, nastaʿlīq / shekastā style, brownish ink. Body of text: 170 x 75 mm.
