  • Collation:
    Part I: 5VI^60 + 7VII^74 + 3VI^110 + IV^118 + VII^134 + VI^146 Part II: 5 Sesternions Part III: 1 Septernion and 1 Sesternion, some halfpages Part IV: V^268 + (III-3). On f. 268v below a reclaimer. Part V: 3V^301 + IV^309 + 5V^359 + IV^367. Reclaimer, but in the last layer missing.
  • Condition Description:
    The folios of part II are cut for binding, thus parts of the text are missing.
    Part III is , f. 259r is very dirty.
  • Decoration:
    Part I: The beginnings of the books are rubricated and on ff. 91v - 92r . There are also some larger Lombards, some of them in a frame including the headline. On f. 67v one can find a mannered Q, on ff. 111r - 114r very elegant Lombard initials, on ff. 119r- 120v some demonstrations of spheres and on ff. 122v- 124r schemata in the margin.
    Part II: Broad margin for commentary. Commentary and glosses in the interlines sometimes at the same time. Rubricated on ff. 151v- 152r . We can find a twelve lines tall Lombard initial "P" on f. 147r , the internal surface of the initial is decorated with clumsy floral decor. Sometimes space for initials is recessed.

  • Note:
    The comment dissolves into single, finally diminishing marginal notes. The translation correspondes with the one from Guilelmus of Moerbecke , but holds also elements of the Translatio vetus in the beginning where variants were crossed out later and replaced by versions of the Translatio nova. The same anonymous commentary is handed in the Ms. Halberstadt Domgymnasium, Cod. 18 but without Prooemium. Hence it is possible, that this manuscript has a local tradition of the commentary.
