The DARE-counting tries to represent the correct foliation and goes with the counting of folios used by the catalogue.

Condition Description:
According to the table of contents (ff.

) consisted of the following parts: (1) Leaf 2-4.12.13.16 (12rv.13rv.16rv then still empty); (2) A layer a, which is now located in GB 4° 171 (leaf 49-61); (3) leaf 18-147 (139v-147v then still empty). Later, the librarian
Conradus
took the aforementioned layer (cf. f.

: "Nota: primus sexternus est alibi positus ..."), expanded the codex to leaf 219 (219rv remained empty, at first) and adjusted the table of contents (the part refering to layer a was pasted over with a paper strip and labelled with the details for ff.
