Condition Description:
Once there were 152 folios. Some folios were taken out of the manuscript: f. 4 and ff. 147 - 150.
Decoration:
Title, initials and signes of paragraphes in red ink. Majuscles in ocher ink.
Layout:
The text is set one column.

25 lines to the column.
Hand Description:
Text in Italian, written in hybrid Gothic script by Gotifredo da Mulla.
Binding Description:
Bound in pergament with narrow and thin straps. One can find a lable with author and title on it.
Provenance:
A seal belonging to the Biblioteca Colombina. A registration number or a note about the purchase is missing, but there is an Abcedarium inscribed. With the letter B one can read: "Colliget de mano en toscano cum tractato de physionomia 7073".
On f. 141r a note gives the date, place and copist: "Del 1477 a di 18 setembrio fo compido questo libro in Venexia da Gotifreo da Mulla barbiero fo escrito per el suo dileto"
On f. 141v one can find a drawing in sepia ink showing a palm, probably by a right hand.
Once the manuscript had the signature "Z-136-36".
