  • Decoration:
    Titles on the head of the pages are painted alternating in blue and in red colours. The initial letters are of the same colours, but not on f. 239r , which is painted in golden and other colours.
  • Layout:
    The text is set in long lines.


    No script on ff. 72v , 96r , 238r , 257v and 258r . Some text on ff. 258v and 315v that can not be assigned to someting.
  • Hand Description:
    The code is worked out by many librarians. One seems to be from Italy and wrote ff. 1r- 72r . Another writer called "Johannes de Castone anglicus" wrote ff. 73r- 237v . Another one emended the text. Some other writers wrote ff. 239r- 257r , 259r- 302v and 302v- 315r .
  • Binding Description:
    Bound in sheepskin.
  • Acquisition:
    On f. 314v : "Hunc librum dedit frater Guide. Precium VIII lib. Par." Later the word "Guide" was erased.
