Detailed Description
  • Foliation:
    Folionumbers 76 - 79 were wrongly omitted.
  • Collation:
A composite manuscript out of four codicological sections.
    The first (ff. 1r- 136v , quaternions: 8 + 12x2 + 8x2 + 10 + 8x3 + 12 + 6 + 8 + 6 + 8 + 10) and second (ff. 137r- 158v , quaternions: 8 + 6 + 8) sections are from the end of the 13th to the beginning of the 14th century . The third section (ff. 159r- 180v , quaternions: 12 + 10) is from the 14th century and the fourth section (ff. 181r- 215v , quaternions: 7(5 + 2) + 8 + 4 + 8x2) from the end of the 14th century .
For the first section, some reclaimers can be found in the final quaternion, the second section has a reclaimer on f. 144v .
  • Decoration:
On ff. 1r- 26v , we have titles in minium on top of the pages and also in the margins. At the beginning of the second section, we have titles on top of the pages in red. In the first section, we have red initials. The second section has its larger initials in blue with red elongations (cf. f. 137r ) and the minor ones without further ornations either in red or in blue up to f. 151r , from then on just in red. In the third section, spaces for the initials are left empty. In the first and fourth section, we have paragraph signs in minium. We have no rubrication in the third section, but some in the fourth section.
  • Layout:
Text is set in long lines.

    F. 156r is without script.
  • Hand Description:
Text is written by multiple hands.
The first and second section of the codex are written by many librarians from the North, either Germanic or Danish. Additionally, the second part is written in a very fine script.
The third section up to f. 179r is written by one Swedish or Danish librarian.
D'Alverny proposes, that the fourth section is written by many Swedish librarians.
  • Binding Description:
Within the binding one can see a parchment fragment of some codex from the 14th century.
  • Provenance:
On f. 159r the name of Nicolaus Laghonis is inscribed. He was a lector at the Dominican convent in Helsingborg and had his floruit in the 14th century . The inscription (before the Rotulus pugillaris of Augustinus de Dacia ) is in a bolder hand and reads: "Liber fratris Nicholai Laghonis de conuentu Helsinburgensis ord. pr[edicatorum] prouincie Dacie".
At the bottom of f. 184v , we have: "Brodher Illabrandus aeghir mik".
    On f. 215r one can see:"Fr. Olavus Petri " ( 14th - 15th century ).
