Acquisition:
The codex was a present given by Hieronymus de Sancta Sophia, a doctor artium from Padua, to Johannes Marchanova in 1450. Johannes, then, gave it as his heritage to the Paduan coenobium of St. John in Viridario. In 1782 the codex came to Venice in the Biblioteca S. Marci.
