The commentator quotes his elder brother R. Abhigdor Qara (fol. 19b).

Incomplete. Divided into three parts: a. Beg. העניין השלישי בהישרה אל העבודה הנזכרת אמ׳, ends with the chapter הענין החמישי בהעתקה אל צרור החיים; b. בביאור הישרה אל העבודה הנזכרת בחלק הראשון, divided into seven chapters; c. בהערה על שמות האלה ית׳, two chapters, the second of which contains the comm. on the 26 הקדמות, to be found at beg. of the second part of the M. han-N'bhokhim. The author often quotes Sh'muel and Mosheh Thabbon, מני׳ וידל (in a gloss, with the epithet בילשום, and also with the full name), Levi ben Gershom, and his contemporary R. Mosheh כ״ץ. He mentions on fol. 13 his imprisonment during eighteen months.

The author quotes Maimonides, the רוח חן, the מלחמות ה׳, and a letter from M'naḥem אגלר, addressed to R. Lipmann of Mühlhausen. The answer follows in a few lines on the marg. of fol. 81 (injured in binding and pale; the name יורא ... יצחק בר ... זל is traced over by a recent hand).
