  • Collation:
    The manuscript consists of three originally different parts (ff. 1r- 36v ; ff. 37r- 45v ; ff. 46r- 46v ).
    Catchwords at the end of each layer.
  • Condition Description:
    Ff. 1r- 2v : damaged; manuscript stained (mainly the first pages show heavy water damage).
  • Decoration:
    Part I: no initials but space left empty. Part II: no initials. Part III: on f. 46r a beautiful initial in red and blue with the miniature of a scholar (the author?).
  • Layout:
    The Text of the Averroes-fragment is set in one column.

    Between 9 and 15 lines to the pages with the Averroes -fragment.

    Averroes -fragment (ff. 46r- 46v ): commentary and main text alternating; the texts differ in the size of the letters (smaller letters for the commentary).
  • Hand Description:
    Three hands.
    Part I (ff. 1r- 36v ): measure 267 x 199 mm (body of text: 105 x 160 mm); text is set in one column; 32 lines to the page.
    Part II (ff. 37r- 45v ): measure 288 x 210 mm; text is set in two columns; about 72 lines to the page.
