  • Provenance:
    According to Halm / Laubmann / Meyer , this codex is a "liber H. Schedelii ".
    On the front cover, we have: "Liber Auerrois in Colliget magistri Sebaldi Mulner artium et vtriusque medicine doctoris comparatus in Italia tempore rectoratus sui anno 1454 pro uno conuentu prestando rectori." Schedel added: "Iste famosus doctor Sebaldus obiit anno domini 1495 die Solis 24. mensis Maii, sepultus in choro sancti Laurentii Nuremberge".
    On the back cover we can see, that Schedel got this codex in 1496 from Erasmus Topler , both doctor of law and prefect of St. Sebaldus (in Nuremberg).
