  • Foliation:
    F. 65 is not signed out, therefore there are 113 folios and not 114 as suggested by the catalogue.
  • Decoration:
    Initials are provided with calligraphic ornaments and there are alternating blue and red beginnings of the chapters. Titles are in red. There are comments in the margins of different hands. There is a note on fol. 113r saying: "Iste liber est mei marchi de susam." And on fol. 1v one can read two prescriptions, written in 15th century letters, which say: "Medicamenta ad faciendum facies pulcras. Ad colorandum maxillas ex colore rubro."
  • Layout:
    Text is set in two columns, the number of lines in the columns differs. A line measures 3 mm x 75 mm, the written area is 272 mm x 175 mm.
  • Hand Description:
    The code is written by serveral hands.
  • Binding Description:
    The book cover from the 18th century is in red, the edges and the back are gilded. A signature is placed on the back: "AVERROES ET. VILLAN."
