    Negligent headings on top of pages in red. The headings of the poetria (ff. 183r- 190v ) are ornamented in red and blue in various cases. Simple initials alternately in red and blue. The first initial is embellished in various colours and artfully elongated to pikes surrounding the page. 183r- 190v ) are ornamented in red and blue in various cases. The part of the poetria (ff. 183r- 190v ) has also initials in red.

    Text is set in two colums.
  • Hand Description:
    Text is written quite boldly by two hands in darker ink.
  • Provenance:
    On f. 2v written by a 16th century hand: "Liber domus de Balliolo in Oxonia ex dono Willelmi Gray, Eliensis episcopi."
