Detailed Description
  • Foliation:
    An ink foliation in the title-line is completed by a more recent hand on some pages. The old counting of pages: 1-45.47-229.229-232. 46 is left out, 229 is set twice. The DARE-Foliation provides the correct counting.
  • Decoration:
    The first initial letter shows a scolar. Other initials also are decorated with leaves or show monstrous birds. The black initial uppercase letters are illustrated with brigt red. Titles at the top of the pages are painted in red and blue alternating. Just a few emendations, some glosses.
  • Hand Description:
    The manuscript was written by one dense hand.
  • Acquisition:
    Once the codex belonged to the Collegium in Navarra and had the number 57 there.
  • Provenance:
    One can read on f. 232r: "Est mei Jo[hannis] Ramiter signatus per 41, quem emi a magistro Ludovico Gretier, precio [left blank], anni Domini 1462. Ramier.
