    The manuscript was restored and rebound in the mid of the 19th century

    Black ink Titles are given in a greater script, subtitles are written in Red
  • Layout:
    Text is set in one column


  • Hand Description:
    One hand, Maghribi script
    Lines were engraved with the help of a wooden strip
  • Acquisition:
    Tsar Alexander I purchased Dubrovski 's collection in 1805 for the Imperial Public Library in St. Petersburg which persisted from 1795 to 1917 and which is knwon as The National Library of Russia in St. Petersburg today.
  • Provenance:
    The manuscript was preserved in the context of a Jewish intellectuel field.
    Later on it came into the possession of Piotr Dubrovski ( 1755 - 1816 ), Russian ambassador to France in the time of the French Revoulution; it was presumably in Paris while this time that he acquired his important collection of manuscripts, among this about 150 copies in oriental languages. It was this collection which should become the foundation of the today division of manuscripts in The National Library of Russia in St. Petersburg .
