    The date of completing the commentary ( 1170 ): '"והאל המפיק הטובות והמגלה האמת והיתה השלמתי בעשיית הבאור הזה יום שבת לראשון לחדש רגב שנת תקס"ה לחשבון ישמעאל וזה במדינת שביליא וכבר יש לי באור עשיתיו הנערות והוא קצר וראיתי עתה לעשות זה הבאור יותר שלם ואני נעזר באלהים להשלים הבאור: יהי שם יי מבורך א' א' א". The date of the translation ( 1316 ) is given in the following epigraph: "נשלמה העתקת באור השע הטבעי לאבן רושדבי"ט באלול שנ' ע"ו לפרט והעתיקו ר' קלונימוס בר קלונימוס "
