  • Foliation:
    A foliation from the 15th or 16th century: 1-100.
  • Collation:
    4IV^32; VI^44 + V^54 + 2 VI^78 + I^80; VIII^96 + II^100
    A counting of the layers: i - xi.
    In the second part reclaimers at the beginning of the layers: i - iiii. The third and fourth layer mixed up.
  • Decoration:
    The whole manuscript is illuminated very beautifully. The first part has the most initials. On 32 leaves one can find all in all 16 Initials. The initials have red, blue, green, ocher and rose letters on golden ground. I.e.: 1v : Aristotle gives the book to the messenger.
    2r : Alexander the Great with warriors and advisors.
    In the second part just the beginnings of the two works are illustrated (cf. ff. 33r and 62r ). Here red, blue, green, ocher and rose colours were used. Paragraphs are red and blue, titles in red.
    The third part contains no pictures.
  • Layout:
    Text is set in 2 columns.

    The number of lines in the first part differ from 35 to 55. In the second part each column has 44, in the third part each has 49 lines.
  • Hand Description:
    At least four scribes, two rubricators and two bookpainter worked on the book.
    The manuscript is composed of three partes. The first part, which was created after the following two, contains Aristotelian and Pseudo-Aristotelian works in translations of the 13th century. The second part consists of "De mineralibus" and "De natura loci" Albert's the Great . In the third part one can find various commentarys, i.e. Averroes "In de longitudine et brevitate vitae".
