    The calligrapher Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Shihāb al-Ruʻaynī copied this manuscript for his personal use
    The verses of the text have Western numbers in the margin
    F. 1r and ff. 2r- 2v are empty
  • Acquisition:
    In 1990 , this manuscript was acquired from E. J. Brill ( Leiden ); it belonged most prabably to the collection of Amīn ibn Ḥasan al-Ḥulwānī al-Madanī al-Ḥanafī ( Medina ).
  • Provenance:
    F. 107v : there is a statement, signed by the Archbishop Martín de Ayala of Valencia , that a Christian physician named Miguel Xeb of Játiva is authorized to examine the manuscript ( March 25th, 1566 ).
    F. 135v : there is another statement, that Hieronymo de Mur S.J. examined the manuscript by order of Gregorio Miranda apostolic inquisitor of Valencia . Nicolás Verdun , notary for the Inquisition, confirmed this statement. This is the orignal wording: "Yo Hieronymo de Mur Sacerdote de la Compania de Jesus ho visto el presente libro de Avicena por mandado del Soc. licenciado Gregoria Miranda Inquisidor apostolico y Inez comisario de los nuevos convertidos en el reyno de Valencia y es bueno. Hieronymo de Mur . - Por mandado del Senor Inq. Inez comisario de los nuevos convertidos de moros deste reyno de Valencia . Nicolas Verunnose .
